Whip #47 is a solid black bullwhip, 7 ft long, with a 10-inch handle built around a 1/4 inch spring steel rod. The core, the 1st belly, and the 2 bolsters are deerskin and the second belly and the overlay are kangaroo hide. It has a 12-plait overlay in black kangaroo hide ending in an 8-strand traditional fall hitch. It has a 32-inch latigo fall and a 12-inch Fast Flight cracker. The heel is weighted and covered with a 5×4, 3-pass Turk’s head knot and the transition has a 5×4, 2 pass THK covering it.
