Whip #73 is a 6-foot, single bellied whip with a twisted-tapered core, 18 inch half-plait, oak handle, 28 inch double-loop fall and a cracker made of B55 nylon. The overlay is a 16-plait in electric blue paracord. The keeper uses an 8-plait, double-edged flat braid (ABoK #2996) on the crop and an 8-plait flat braid doubled with a 6-plait flat braid on the thong.
