Here are a couple of 6-foot, 12-plait kangaroo hide bullwhips. The handle is plaited around a 1/4-inch spring steel rod 10 inches long. They have 3 bellies, a 24-inch latigo fall, and an 8 inch cracker made of B-55 bow string material. The thong ends in a traditional 8-plait fall hitch. One is black and natural and hs a bird’s eye pattern over the transition. The other is burgundy and natural with a gaucho plait at the transition. The heel foundations are leather and lead and the heel knots are 8×5 Turk’s heads. The transition knots are 5×4 THKs. These ar whips #60 and #61.
