Number 53 is an 8-foot nylon bullwhip in electric blue, black, and rust with an 11-inch padauk handle. It has a 25-inch weighted fall and an 8-inch B-55 cracker. The transition is covered with a pineapple knot in black and rust.  The whip has a 5/16thk steel rod epoxied into the handle that the thong was tied onto. It has a 6 strand twisted-tapered core and 2 plaited bellies, bound with artificial sinew.
