Whip #98 is an 8-ft, 16-plait, emerald green cow whip. It has a twisted, tapered, core, 2 plaited bellies, and a 12-inch purpleheart handle. The whip is waxed and the emerald color of the thong darkened quite a bit, but as the whip is used and the wax wears, the green starts coming back out.
